A little autumn hello from me

I can hardly believe we’re already heading into autumn. Where did the summer go?

I wanted to pop into your inbox this month with a little hello, a little catch-up, and to share something that has made me ridiculously happy lately…
|
|
The blog has had a bit of a makeover.
|
I’ve been working on giving Life, Love and Other Shenanigans a fresh new look, and I have to say, I’m really rather in love with it.
|
It’s starting to feel less like a website I’m working on and more like home.
|
|
It feels softer, more grown-up, more me — and I’m so excited about where it’s going.
|
But I’d love to know what you think!

Summer was lovely for me this year. Nothing particularly extravagant — just time spent with some of the most precious people in my life, plenty of moments to relax, and the chance to slow down a little.

And honestly, those are the moments I seem to treasure more and more.
|
|
A good conversation. A laugh that makes your stomach hurt. A beautiful day somewhere new. Sitting with people you love and not needing to be anywhere else.
|
|
What have you been up to this summer?

Have you travelled, explored somewhere new, spent time with family and friends, had a staycation — or perhaps simply enjoyed a slower pace for a while?

Whatever your summer looked like, I hope it gave you at least a few moments that made you think, this is nice.

And now, here we are… autumn. 🍂

I absolutely love this time of year.
|
The golden light. The changing colours. That unmistakable crispness in the air. The smell of leaves, coffee and something cooking in the oven. Cosy evenings, jumpers, candles and the feeling that somehow everything is inviting you to slow down a little.
|
|
And while I’m enjoying all of that, I’ve also been quietly busy behind the scenes.
|
There are some lovely projects taking shape here at Life, Love and Other Shenanigans — things I’ve been working on because I genuinely think they could be helpful to you.
|
I’m not quite ready to spill all the beans yet… but I’m very excited about what’s coming.
|
This next chapter feels a little different.
|
And, if I’m honest, it feels really good.
|
|
So, as we head into a new season, thank you for being here. Whether you’ve been reading for years or you’ve only just found your way here, I’m so glad you did.

Here’s to crisp mornings, cosy evenings, new beginnings and making a little more room for ourselves along the way.
